About The Family Pet Clinic

The Family Pet Clinic was originally named Bartels Pet Clinic by its founder, Dr. Harry Bartels, in 1992. A year later, Dr. Terri Slezak joined the practice. In 2000, Dr. Bartels retired and sold the practice to Dr. Richard Thompson. Not long after, the clinic held a contest among its clients to choose a new name- and “The Family Pet Clinic” was born! In 2015, Dr. Eric Allie joined the practice and our team became complete.

The Family Pet Clinic is a full-service facility, offering wellness care, a wide variety of surgery, pet dentistry, internal medicine, digital radiography, dermatology, specialized toxicology treatment, a full pharmacy, microchip placement, and daytime emergency medicine. The clinic has an extensive state-of-the-art diagnostic laboratory that was upgraded in 2013.
